Nepal Army is far dwarfed by their male partners, the national armed force has given top need to ladies portrayal in the up and coming peacekeeping missions according to the procedures skimmed by the United Nation. The UN has requested more female peacekeepers to enhance the general way to deal with current peacekeeping operations so as to concentrate more on assurance of non military personnel and to improve common military collaboration. Despite the fact that ladies are being enrolled by the Nepal Army since 1962, there are just 3,641 ladies fighters and officers in the 96,500-in number armed force. As of March 27 this year, 4,410 peacekeepers from Nepal Army are being sent in various missions in various clash hit zones. The quantity of female officers at present conveyed in various missions is just 98. Of the aggregate ladies conveyed in UN missions, Lieutenant Colonel Ratna Adhikari (Khatri) is charging a top post in UN mission and Colonel Aarya Rajya Laxmi Pandey is the most elevated positioned Nepali lady officer in the UN mission till date, as indicated by the NA's Directorate of Public Relations. NA's Spokesperson Brigadier General Tara Bahadur Karki said that the quantity of female portrayal will be expanded in the up and coming missions.
