Vehicular development along the Khurkot-Nepalthok street area of the BP Highway has been hindered after the street collapsed close Trivenighat, Sitalpati VDC-9 in Sindhuli region on Sunday night. As per SP Uma Shankar Panjiyar of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, the occurrence happened at around 11 pm the previous evening. He educated that around 30 meter extend of the street have caved in into the Sunkoshi River. As there are no option highways, many vehicles leaving for Kathmandu from Sindhuli and the other path around have been stranded since yesterday night. The DAO has issued a notice to the concerned transport business visionaries to light up the little and far reaching vehicles heading towards Kathmandu to stay off the road for the present.
