A piece of the BP Highway along the Shitalpati segment in Sindhuli has collapsed and fallen into the Sunkoshi waterway beneath disturbing vehicular development.

Around a hundred meter piece of the street collapsed at Benighat Kholete zone of Shitalpati – 9 at 11 pm the previous evening, Chief District Officer, Tara Bahadur Karki shared. He said the experts were yet to figure out what brought about the street to crumple.

CDO Karki included that the area of the street has turned out to be narrow to the point that not motorbikes can pass. Many vehicles heading towards the capital city and those taking off have been stranded with separated network along the street.

Vehicles heading into the capital city from Ramechap, Dolakha, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Okhaldhunga and the eastern areas in Tarai have been stranded.

The District Administration Office (DAO) has issued a notice to the concerned transport business visionaries to teach the little and colossal vehicles heading towards Kathmandu to stay off the road for the present.

The DAO has in like manner exhorted Mahottari district specialists to possess the vehicles voyaging west through Sindhuli. CDO Karki said an interest has been sent to the street division to make a substitute course of action.

Local people accuse the crumple for the street's feeble establishment, splits and crevices created amid the enormous seismic tremor aggravated by the rainstorm deluge which had brought about the street surface to die down.
